Welcome to Repast. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Robotic Arm Software, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Repast ("Repast," "we," "us," or "our"). The "Service" means the Repast website, web application, and any related software made available at repast.app and successor domains.

1. Acceptance and changes

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; the current version is always at this URL with a posted "Last updated" date and a version identifier. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that window constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. What the Service does

The Service generates personalized weekly meal plans, recipe suggestions, and grocery lists based on profile information you provide (dietary preferences, equipment, budget, etc.). It is a planning and convenience tool. You do your own shopping, food handling, and cooking. The Service may also link to third-party services (such as grocery delivery partners — see Section 9) where you can act on your generated list.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in access (email magic link) secure and for all activity under your account. One account per person; household sharing is supported via the in-app household feature, not by sharing credentials.

4. Your responsibilities — food safety and allergens

You are solely responsible for the safety, preparation, and consumption of food you purchase and prepare using the Service. In particular, you agree that:

• You will inspect every ingredient before purchase and consumption to confirm it is fresh, properly handled, and free of substitutions, contaminants, or allergens you cannot consume.
• You will follow safe food-handling and cooking practices, including cooking meats, poultry, and seafood to safe internal temperatures as recommended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture or the equivalent authority in your jurisdiction.
• You bear full responsibility for any allergic reactions or sensitivities. The Service's allergen and avoidance filters are best-effort tools based on ingredient data we maintain; they are not a substitute for reading every label and verifying every ingredient yourself before consumption.
• You will not rely on the Service's macro or nutrition estimates to manage a medical condition without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

5. Not medical or nutritional advice

The Service is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider. The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Nutrition figures (calories, fat, protein, net carbs) are approximate estimates derived from public-source ingredient data and may differ materially from the actual food you prepare.

The ketogenic diet and other low-carbohydrate or restrictive diets can have specific medical implications. Consult a qualified professional before starting or relying on plans generated by the Service if any of the following applies to you:

• You have or have had diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2), kidney disease, liver disease, gallbladder disease, heart disease, an eating disorder, or any other significant medical condition.
• You are pregnant, nursing, planning to become pregnant, or under 18 years of age.
• You take prescription medications, particularly insulin, oral diabetes medications, blood pressure medications, or anticoagulants — these can be affected by changes in diet.
• You have any history of disordered eating or are recovering from one.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, bulk-export, or otherwise systematically copy the recipe library, ingredient catalog, grocery data, or any other content from the Service;
• Probe, attack, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to clone the recipe- generation or planning system;
• Use any automated means (bots, crawlers, scripts) to access the Service except as expressly authorized.

7. Your content and feedback

When you submit feedback, suggestions, ratings, or other content to the Service (for example, through the in-app feedback widget), you grant Repast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display that content for any purpose related to operating, improving, or marketing the Service. You retain ownership of what you submit but acknowledge that we have no obligation to keep submissions confidential. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.

8. Our content

The recipe library, ingredient catalog, software, interface design, name "Repast," and related branding are the property of Repast or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial meal-planning purposes. You may not copy, publish, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Service content without our prior written permission.

9. Third-party services and affiliate relationships

The Service may contain links or integrations to third-party services such as grocery delivery partners. Where we earn a commission or referral fee from your use of a third-party service we link to, we will disclose that relationship at or near the relevant link or button. Repast is not responsible for third-party services, their pricing, availability, delivery, terms of service, privacy practices, or the quality of goods obtained through them. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repast disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to: warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non- infringement, accuracy of nutrition data, accuracy of grocery prices, ingredient availability at your local stores, suitability for any health or fitness goal, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. National-average grocery prices in the Service are estimates and will differ from your local store. Recipe instructions are general guidance and may need to be adapted to your specific equipment, ingredients, and skill level.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPAST, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including without limitation lost profits, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, personal injury, property damage, health outcomes, or damages arising from allergic reactions, foodborne illness, dietary effects, or other consequences of your use of the Service or any food prepared based on it — regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Repast has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid Repast in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages; in such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Repast, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; (d) inaccurate information you provided to the Service (including inaccurate allergy, dietary restriction, or medical-condition information); or (e) any food you prepare, consume, or serve to others based on the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account from the Settings page; on deletion, your personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or abusive activity, or operational requirements. Sections 4 (Your responsibilities), 7 (Your content and feedback), 8 (Our content), 10 (Disclaimer), 11 (Limitation of liability), 12 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing law and disputes), and 15 (General) survive any termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

15. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Repast regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the subject. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them without restriction. The headings used in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
